Spectral Power is a software designed to find the spectral decomposition of seismic trace data. This software is distributed by KMS Technologies, an authorized agent of Parallel Geoscience Corporation. If you are interested on this software package you may fill out the following order form.
KJT Enterprises has developed the SPW Spectral Power software module. The SPW Spectral Power is the most comprehensive spectral decomposition software tool on the market and is capable of integrating the conventional and novel spectral decomposition transform methods. The software consists of many pre-transform processing modules, implementations of four different transform methods and many post-transform processing modules. The special decomposition of the seismic trace data is achieved through implementations of four different transform methods:

Short Time Fourier Transform (STFT)

Wavelet Transform (WT - Gabor)

Wigner-Ville Distribution (WVD)

Pseudo Wigner-Ville Distribution (PWVD – windowed WVD)
The special and unique implementation of the WVD was jointly developed with Parallel Geoscience Corporation. The WVD describes the evolution of a signal’s energy distribution as a function of both time and frequency. The frequency cubes that result from this process can potentially be used to map variations in bed thickness, geologic discontinuities and differentiation of fluids in the reservoir.
